Tangler is a sports prediction game published by Gilder Games LLC. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not, don't use Tangler.

Closed testing

Tangler is pre-release software offered by invitation. It will have bugs, features will change, and we may reset balances, events, or accounts without notice. Nothing here is a promise that the service will keep working.

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Give us an email address you actually control — it is how we reach you and how you recover access. One account per person.

Gilder has no cash value

Gilder is play currency. It cannot be purchased with, redeemed for, or exchanged into money or anything of value, and it is not transferable outside the game. Tangler is a game of prediction played for fun, not gambling, and no wagering of real money occurs.

Fair play

Don't cheat, script, or automate play; don't create extra accounts or collude to move Gilder around; don't try to break, probe, or overload the service; don't harass other players or use a display name that is abusive or impersonates someone. We may suspend or remove an account that does, and adjust balances that came from a bug or an exploit.

Scores and settlement

Guesses settle from the final scores we receive from our sports data sources. Those sources are occasionally wrong or late; when that happens we may correct a settlement after the fact. Our records are the record.

Your content

You keep whatever you write — crew names, display names, messages. You give us permission to show it inside the app to the people it is meant for.

Ending it

You may stop using Tangler at any time and ask us to delete your account at support@gilder.com. We may suspend or end access, or end the test entirely, at our discretion.

No warranty, and limits

Tangler is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Gilder Games LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us — which, during closed testing, is nothing.

Changes

We will update these terms as the app changes and change the date at the top. Continuing to use Tangler after a change means you accept it.
